Jayne Whyte

Jayne Whyte is social scientist, evaluation and impact specialist, personal development coach and social entrepreneur with varied experience in carrying out applied research, monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) activities in the development sector. Proven expertise in managing and implementing monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL) systems for donor-funded community development programs (UNICEF, UNOPS, USAID, FCDO-UK, BMGF, World Bank), particularly those focused on climate, gender, education, food, nutrition, and maternal and reproductive health.

Jayne is the creator of the Smart Woman Life Planner and the lead consultant for SmartHER, where she coaches girls and young women to develop skills, realise their full potential, be more productive, work smarter, and make smarter decisions. Also, SmartHER provides tech-inclined programmes and tools. The organisation’s flagship product is the Smart Woman Life Planner App. Other products include the Smart Girl Before Anyone Else Planner, also known as the Smart Girls’s BAE and the Smart Woman Life Planner.

Jayne Whyte is the campaign team lead for NutriSmart, which focuses on addressing poor nutrition outcomes in Africa by empowering mothers and caregivers to provide nutritious foods for their family, identifying foods with high nutrient value, and educating and communicating local nutritious foods so caregivers can make informed choices. Also, she is the author of “Authentic Everyday Recipes for Smart Children”.
